 World Vision European Union Liaison Office (EULO) serves to interact with the European Union (EU) and to facilitate the link of the international partnership of World Vision (WV), in Europe and around the world, with the EU, on behalf of the most vulnerable children of the world, their families and communities.
EULO is supported jointly by 10 EU organisations, linking us with millions of European citizens who are engaged supporters and donors. EULO works in close collaboration with them, WV Global Capitals (such as Geneva), and NGO and Civil Society networks, to increase the effectiveness of EU development cooperation, for access to EU resources, and to influence policies that reduce poverty and promote justice globally.
Our Objectives:
To influence EU development and humanitarian aid policies and practice (Child Rights, EC dialogue with Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), Aid Effectiveness, CSO voice and ownership, EU funding and budget, health, food security).
To facilitate the development and increase of sustained EC revenue for civil society in general and specifically for World Vision and its partners worldwide, and to provide expert guidance to World Vision’s organisations in the most needy countries for their relations with EU institutions.
To build capacity to partner on programme implementation with, and advocate to, the EU internationally, while also enhancing the European identity of World vision.
