The role of EU in Global Health:
Current lack of equity and other global factors affecting health require an enhanced and inter-disciplinary approach. The role and strategy of the EU in the present global health challenges must be identified. The commission launched a broad consultation to gather the views of stakeholders, based on an EC analysis paper. The results will be shared soon, as well as upcoming European positions for the global MDG review in 2010.

Food Security consultation:
The consultation based on an EC DG Dev paper entitled "Towards a EU policy framework to assist developing countries addressing agriculture and food security challenges" aims at collecting views on a number of important challenges and issues in the field of agriculture and food security in order to identify the role of the EU in assisting developing countries addressing such challenges.
